  • Winsley Art Group show

A group of people become more than the sum of their parts when they meet often, they share their lives as well as their inspiration, learning from and with each other through encouragement and support, withdrawing from the mundane to examine the joy and delight of line, colour, texture.

Eleven painters show together for the first time at West Barn, Bradford on Avon over the weekend of Saturday 8th to Sunday 9th October. I'm delighted to be organising this collection of really talented creatives and look forward to sharing it with many visitors over the weekend.

  • Sustainable Making article in SCMK magazine #6

Artists are compelled to create, to practice and experiment, expanding skills and making work which can also help keep us mentally healthy. But this comes at a cost. Using raw materials of a dubious provenance, relying on mass manufacture of non-renewables such as plastic or metal, in fact a lot of what we use in our creative practices could be considered precious materials; not just the silver, gold or stones ...

  • Metamorphoses in Munich

Eight months of preparation involving many international Zoom training sessions, getting up before dawn to shoot videos on Charmouth beach in 3º temp wearing a flimsy linen dress and avoiding the early dog walkers, the stress of posting jewellery to Germany and filling out customs forms was all worth it.

Three statement necklaces are now on show at Bayerischer Kunstgewerbeverein gallery in the centre of Munich from 25 Feb to 2 April along with my video Amphitrite.
