Alison is an artist who loves using a variety of materials such as clay and textiles, but also treasures the chance to reuse and recycle found bits and stuff whenever possible. She studied ceramics at Camberwell School of Art in the early 80s with some amazing tutors, and recently completed an MA at Bath School of Art in ceramics. She is a member of Design-Nation UK, and is listed on the Crafts Council Directory. She is also a member of Klimt02, the leading contemporary art jewellery forum, based in Barcelona, and exhibits her art jewellery and sculpture extensively. 

Robin is a man of many talents and has recently finished building his Dark Room for analogue processing of film but is also passionate about research into environmental photographic techniques, such as salt prints, chromatographs, or phytoprints. He trained as a jeweller in the 90s at Loughborough, and specialises in repurposing found objects for use in original rings, bracelets and neckpieces.

The studios are situated in a beautiful green leafy valley in East Devon, close to both the A35 and A303/30 near Honiton, not far from Lyme Regis and the beautiful Jurassic Coast. They are part of a complete eco-renovation project which also includes an old Methodist chapel.
