Eco-printing is the ancient technique of using foraged plants, food waste and found materials to colour textile fabric permanently. Alison uses only environmentally sustainable materials and techniques to transfer natural plant dye to silk, wool or cotton fabrics creating unique patterns and colours. This method can be used to dye pre-existing clothing transforming them into one-off works of wearable art, on recycled fabric such as sheets and pillowcases, or to create memory cloths using celebration flowers given at the birth of a child, a wedding or anniversary.
Minimum of three people.
Half-day (3 hrs) or full-day (6 hrs) sessions, ideal for rainy holidays and weekends away in the South West.
