Daniel Richardson statement
30 years after a ceramics degree at Middlesex Polytechnic Dan is throwing pots again. Studio assistant with Robin Welch in 1985 and then again in 2019.
Pots are stoneware, fired to 1260c in an electric kiln. Glazes developed under Emmanuel Cooper’s lectureship at Middlesex. Works from studio at home near Diss in Norfolk.
