Collecting Memories
So much more than a vessel of memories, and prettier than a pocket, a Trapper Basket contains a record of a moment in time.
This one is dated 10 January 2021 when I walked with partner Robin and Lola, our lurcher on a cold sunny morning up the lane to the ford. Searching for inspiration, and discovering colour and texture in the overlooked and unprepossessing regular landscape which had become ordinary during our isolated existence. Looking with a purpose uncovered unexpected treasure. 'Palsh' apparently is the Devon word for walking slowly and looking.
