Patch of Grass

Patch of Grass was created for a show at Victoria Art Gallery, Bath in 2018 with Bath Society of Artists, using rusty iron wire, a recovered heating duct sheet and fine porcelain feathers. I love the spiky texture of 'grass' contrasting with the smooth dainty luxury of porcelain clay. It took a lot of wire cutting to cover 55 square centimetres.
